Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

This policy explains what information Author Talking (“we”) collects through authortalking.com and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Forms you submit: your name, email address and the details you enter in our guest application, strategy-call, contact and newsletter forms.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic request information, used to prevent spam and abuse and kept in server logs for a limited time.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.

How we use it

  • To reply to you and, if you ask us to, prepare a proposal or consider you as a podcast guest.
  • To send the newsletter you subscribed to. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the site secure. Our “I'm not a robot” check runs on our own server, with no third-party captcha service.

Sharing

If you become a client, we share your one-sheet and pitch with the podcast hosts you've approved. Otherwise we only share data with the service providers that run this site and our email, and only as needed to provide those services.

Retention and your rights

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for reasonable record-keeping afterwards. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time through our contact form.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
