This year marks his 8th year in teaching, with six years of experience in Special Education and two years teaching CP History.
Rob’s dedication to his students is evident in his open-door policy, always encouraging students to reach out to him with questions, concerns, or comments. This nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching sets him apart and makes him an inspiring figure in the field of education.
A Pioneering Scientist
Rob Raffa’s journey doesn’t stop at being an educator and a foodie. He is also an accomplished scientist. As an Adjunct Professor at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and Professor Emeritus at Temple University School of Pharmacy, Rob has made significant contributions to the field of pharmacology.
His extensive research in analgesics drug discovery at Johnson & Johnson, along with several patents to his name, including one for the combination of tramadol and acetaminophen (Ultracet™), showcases his dedication to the scientific community. He is also a co-founder of CaRafe Drug Innovation and Enalare and serves as the Chief Scientific Officer of Neumentum Inc.
