A Smart #1 Brabus has been spotted in Malaysia by The Ajerul, fueling further speculation that the hotted-up electric vehicle (EV) will be yet another high-performance option in our electrified market.

It’s a performance version of the Smart #1 EV with 428 PS and 543 Nm, allowing for a 0-100 km/h time of a claimed 3.9 seconds. Much of that power comes from the additional front-mounted motor, making the Smart #1 Brabus all-wheel drive (AWD).
The standard, single-motor #1 delivers 272 PS and 343 Nm of torque.
Powering the Smart #1 Brabus is a 66 kWh lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC) battery, good for a 400 km range based on the WLTP cycle.
Further differentiating the #1 Brabus with the ‘regular’ cars are the tuner-specific dual-tone colourways, a more aggressive exterior, and ‘Dynamo’ 19-inch wheels to go.
While we await further, confirmed information over the Smart #1 Brabus in Malaysia, Smart’s itself’s introduction in our country is slowly taking shape – its list of authorised dealers are being slowly announced, led by Hap Seng Smart and EON.
