Hyundai Philippines expands its brand presence by adding a new dealership to its extensive roster. The South Korean automaker recently welcomed the Borromeo Motoring Group to its network of dealers through the construction of Hyundai Bacoor.

According to Hyundai Motor Philippines, adding another dealership to its extensive roster helps the brand reach out to more customers nationwide and provides them with the customer service they need after buying a car. Car ownership doesn’t stop with just buying a vehicle and extends well after the vehicle’s lifespan.

On May 24, leaders and managers from HMPH attended a ceremony commemorating the event, including Mr. Dongwook Lee, President, and Mr. Cecil Capacete, Managing Director. They were joined by Borromeo Motoring Group’s founder, Mr. Max Borromeo, and Performance Motors Company, Inc.’s President, Mr. Paolo Borromeo. Also present were executive board members, Mr. Butch Atianzar, Chief Financing Officer, Mr. Johann Martinez, General Manager, and Mr. Juancho Anduiza, General Sales Manager.

“Today, we are breaking ground not just for the soon-to-rise outlet here in Bacoor but also for the start of a fruitful partnership between HMPH and the Borromeo Group. After all, we have two special celebrations today. We officially recognize this very dealership as their first, and Calamba, in the province of Laguna, as their second,” says Lee.

Why Bacoor?

Hyundai Bacoor

Bacoor is an integral part of Philippine history as it was designated the first capital of the revolutionary government. Fast forward to the present, it has become the second-largest province in Cavite, well-known for its agriculture-based economy. Bacoor specializes in mussels, oysters, and bamboo; commercial activities and service-related industries are now equally thriving in CALBARZON.

The brand wishes to serve the growing number of residential areas alongside land and transportation developments, such as the Cavite Coastal Road Extension.

With the addition of Hyundai Bacoor, the South Korean brand stays on track toward having 45 dealerships by the end of 2023.
