X90在中国汽车技术研究中心（CATARC）实验室进行了测试，按照更为严格的新的东盟NCAP 2021-2025评估协议进行测试，更加注重自动紧急制动（AEB）和侦测摩托车安全测试在内的ADAS功能。
在成人乘员保护方面，X90获得了32分中的30.20分的出色成绩。保护被评为“良好”，这是非常好的成绩。
X90的标准6个气囊有助于提高其得分，而儿童乘员保护方面，前撞击测试获得了16分的最高分，侧面撞击测试获得了8分，总计45.37分（满分51分）。
