Plane Zoo: A List of the 8 Best DLC Packs

Planet Zoo is the best zoo management game out there. It’s like the true sequel to the Zoo Tycoon series. With a detailed building system, players can make zoos that look and feel real, but they need to be carefully and fully managed.

The world in this game is very accurate, and the customers are very picky.

The game is also constantly getting free fixes and paid content updates, which is great for players. With each DLC pack, players can get a bunch of new animal types to adopt, learn more about, and show off to their friends and family. A lot of the time, these content packs come with new building and outdoor things that can shine even brighter than the animals themselves. For gamers who like to be challenged, a new situation has been added.

Last changed by Joe Grantham on January 3, 2024:It looks like Planet Zoo will keep putting out new DLC packs with unique species from all over the world. Almost all famous zoo animals are now in the game. People who have all the content packs can now choose from 180 types. More and more of the new adds are focused on animals that live in rural areas and are rare or threatened.

The most realistic building blocks are in the best Planet Zoo DLC packs. These can be used to make zoos that are so real that they are hard to tell apart from the real thing.

1. Eurasia Animal Pack

Highlights The Underappreciated Beauty Of Eurasian Wildlife

Planet Zoo Eurasia Animal Pack DLC

Even though the Eurasia Animal Pack doesn’t have any animals that most people would think of as unusual, it does add some beautiful rare species that many players will not have seen before. For example, the Saiga species has a very strange but cute nose. The Wisent or European Bison population is growing because the species is being brought back to life in some parts of Europe.

There is one bird that everyone at Planet Zoo loves more than any other: the Mute Swan. This bird is truly amazing, and it looks great in the game. Having the chance to build a different type of environment is always nice because birds aren’t shown enough in the game.

Animals Included in the Eurasia Animal Pack

Planet Zoo Australia Pack DLC

Australia wildlife is some of the most unique in the world because the country is so far away from everything else. People who have the Australia Pack can add the most famous animals from the bush to their zoo. The Koala and the Red Kangaroo are the pack’s stars.

The Australian-themed scenery pieces are also a nice touch. They come in a mix of modern woods and rusty, rough pieces that would look great in a desert zoo. There are also some of the best beautiful art pieces in this DLC. Most of them are based on aboriginal art.

Animals Included in the Australia Pack

  • Dingo
  • Koala
  • Red Kangaroo

Like most extra packs, this one comes with new plants, like Silver Ferns, which are only found in New Zealand, and a new area called Temperate Oceania where players can build their zoos. Features Nocturnal Animals & Important Building Pieces For Realistic Zoos

Planet Zoo Twilight Pack DLC

Unlike other expansion packs that focus on one region of the world, the Twilight Pack takes animals from all around the world that have one thing in common; they are primarily nocturnal. This makes for some very interesting gameplay, as players can attempt to build exhibits that look great at night as well as during the day.

It’s really hard to make an animal look real in a game, but these games were able to do it.

Many players buy the Twilight Pack for the mostly gothic building materials, even though the animals that come with it are also great. Skilled artists use the stalactites in particular to make rock structures that look like real life. Luckily, a lot of these are on the Planet Zoo Steam Workshop as plans that you can download.

This DLC is great for animal fans because it has a lot of different kinds from all over the world. With the addition of the European Peacock, a butterfly despite its name, players can now see a new animal in a full show. With its coaches, boats, and city-themed buildings, this DLC pack is great for urban parks. Players can add tiny textures to their zoos with the stickers that are available. This will make them look like they are real.

There is also a medieval style in the pack, along with one of the best things for getting better. People can watch their new Alpine Ibexes do what they do best on the Goat Climbing Mountain. The Eurasian Lynx, a truly beautiful species, has to be the animal that stands out.
