Selepas penangguhan jualan varian hibrid Daihatsu Rocky dan Toyota Raize pada 19 Mei di Jepun disebabkan oleh pemalsuan data impak sisi tiang UN R135, Toyota telah mengumumkan bahawa Raize telah lulus ujian dalaman yang dijalankan oleh Daihatsu.
Walau bagaimanapun, jualan Raize Hybrid dan versi kembar Daihatsu masih ditangguhkan di Jepun kerana ini hanya ujian dalaman. Langkah seterusnya adalah mengulangi ujian tersebut di hadapan pihak berkuasa pensijilan.
Perhatikan bahawa penangguhan jualan hanya terpakai kepada varian hibrid 1.2 liter dari Rocky dan Raize. Model biasa dengan enjin turbo 1.0 liter, yang menjadi asas bagi Perodua Ativa, dijual seperti biasa di Jepun.
UN R135 adalah piawai ujian impak sisi tiang yang ditetapkan oleh Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu.
Berbeza dengan ujian sukarelawan NCAP, ujian UN ini tidak diberikan markah, hanya lulus atau gagal.
Ujian ini dijalankan oleh Daihatsu di Pusat Teknikal Shiga mereka pada 24 Mei.
