Neta Auto Malaysia has rung up 100 bookings of the Neta V EV at the recently-concluded Malaysia Autoshow 2023. Deliveries are expected to start in Q3 2023.

“We are pleased to have reached our milestone of 100 bookings during the Malaysia Autoshow 2023. We are grateful to Puan Muhaya Salleh, for being our hundredth customer, and we look forward to delivering her NETA V soon”, said Mohd Norazli Mohd Salleh, Group Chief Strategy Officer of the GoAuto Group.

With prices starting from RM 99,800 (on-the-road, without insurance), the Neta V is the cheapest brand-new electric vehicle in Malaysia. The first 100 customers who book online are also entitled to a RM 10k cash voucher, which brings the final price down to RM 89,800.

Available in a sole variant, power for the Neta V comes from a single electric motor that does 95 PS and 150 Nm, juiced by a 38.5 kWh lithium-ion-type nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack. It remains to be seen how soon will our market receive the 40.7 kWh lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery as it is in Thailand.
