Syarikat pengeluar motosikal gergasi India, Bajaj diketahui memiliki hubungan kerjasama dengan pengeluar motosikal Britain, Triumph dan gandingan kedua-dua syarikat itu bakal menghasilkan sebuah model yang dijangka dilancar, Jun ini.
Sekalipun motosikal yang dinyatakan pernah beberapa kali ‘tertangkap’ sedang melakukan ujian, tetapi tiada sebarang maklumat diberikan daripada kedua-dua pihak sebelum timbul perkembangan mengujakan, baru-baru ini.
Bukan sekadar khabar angin, pendedahan itu dibuat sendiri oleh Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) Bajaj, Rajiv Bajaj dalam satu temuramah.
Dalam temuramah itu, Rajiv mendedahkan yang syarikat itu menyasarkan untuk melancarkan satu pelancaran model baharu pada suku kedua (Q2) 2023, lebih tepat pada 27 Jun 2023 ini.

Lebih menarik menurut Rajiv, pelancaran peringkat global itu tidak berlangsung di India, namun dijalankan di London, England dan akan dianjurkan oleh Triumph.
Sekalipun tidak menyatakan dengan khusus mengenai model yang bakal dilancarkan, beliau turut mendedahkan bukan hanya satu model akan dilancar, namun lebih.

Berdasarkan laporan sebelum ini, motosikal yang bakal dilancarkan hasil kerjasama Bajaj/Triumph itu berkemungkinan menggunakan enjin bersesaran di antara 250 cc ke 400 cc.
Dan jika perkembangan ini benar, ia juga bermakna syarikat berpangkalan di Hinckley itu mula menyertai segmen motosikal aras mula, segmen yang sememangnya cukup popular di pasaran Asia termasuk Asia Tenggara.
Di Malaysia, Triumph Malaysia ketika ini berada di bawah pengurusan Didi Group namun pelancaran rasmi masih belum dijalankan.
Manakala untuk Bajaj, kehadirannya di pasaran tempatan adalah menerusi kerjasama dengan Modenas.

Jika melihat kepada trend pemasaran di bawah Didi Group, salah satu jenama di bawah pengurusan syarikat itu, Aprilia turut rancak memasarkan model aras mula antaranya skuter bergaya ADV, Aprilia SR GT 200 dan ia memang mendapat sambutan.
Dan melihat kepada situasi berkenaan, tidak mustahil pihak Triumph Malaysia akan mengikuti langkah yang sama tetapi buat masa sekarang, kita tunggu saja pengumuman mengenai pelancaran Triumph Malaysia yang katanya dijadual pada Q2 tahun ini.
