Choose high-yield HP 962XL black and color original ink cartridges for reliable print performance. You’ll get the results you expect time after time.
High-Yield Black Ink Cartridge
The HP 9013 Black ink cartridge is a high-yield black cartridge that provides more prints per charge than standard-yield ink cartridges. These cartridges have been tested and proven to provide excellent print results while also providing the most cost savings. They are ideal for printing documents and photos. In addition, the printer driver can be adjusted to utilize less ink when printing. This can help minimize waste and save even more on printing costs.
Some inkjet printers use two cartridges, a black and tri-color cartridge. The HP 63 series is an example of this. These cartridges have an integrated printhead that is built into the cartridge. This means that each time you install a new cartridge you are also replacing the printhead.
Other inkjet printers work with individual cartridges for black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink. These cartridges are referred to as single-cartridge series and will not work in the HP 63 series printers. They have a small piece of tape on the end that needs to be removed before installation.
High-Yield Cyan Ink Cartridge
Get high-quality prints with this Original HP cartridge. It’s specially designed to work seamlessly with your printer, ensuring that you’ll be able to print documents and photos with ease. The cartridge provides you with consistent results that you can depend on, from vibrant colors to crisp text.
You can purchase this cartridge individually or as part of a multipack. The package contains a full set of black and color original cartridges, giving you enough ink for a wide range of printing needs. It also has a low price per page, making it ideal for any office.
Ink usage can vary depending on how many times you print, which paper type you use and the print mode you select. For example, some dark images which look black may contain a blend of black and color inks to improve print quality and permanence on plain paper draft modes. Additionally, some printers perform start-up and calibration processes which consume ink.
High-Yield Magenta Ink Cartridge
Ink cartridges come in several sizes, with different yields to suit each printer’s needs. Some work with black and tri-color ink cartridges that have an integrated printhead built into them (like the HP 63 series or 65 series), while others work with four individual color ink cartridges for cyan, magenta, and yellow (like the HP 962 series).
If your printer gives you a message that one of the ink cartridges is empty and the print quality isn’t as good, try cleaning the contacts on the end of the cartridge with a warm paper towel. These gold and copper contacts or dots are what allows the cartridge to communicate with your printer and can become clogged with fingerprint oil or dust.
Wipe the contacts gently until you see ink appear on the paper towel, then insert it again and try printing a test page. Repeat as needed if your print results aren’t improving. The paper towel method uses very little ink, so it’s an inexpensive way to try before buying new cartridges.
High-Yield Yellow Ink Cartridge
For printing high-quality, color documents and photos, you need quality ink cartridges. Whether you need one or several, these HP 962 ink cartridges will produce great results every time. They come in a multipack, making it easy to stock up on ink for your printer.
Some black text-and-graphics prints may contain small amounts of color ink to improve print quality and permanence, even though the document appears to be entirely black. This is called composite black.
If you’re experiencing streaky prints, try priming the cartridge using the paper towel method. This process wicks out any dried ink, which will then allow the printhead to fully prime and produce smooth, clear prints. To perform this procedure, first remove the cartridge from your HP OfficeJet Pro 9013. Then, locate the piece of yellow sealing tape on the end of the cartridge and peel it away. This is important because it seals off the vent hole and can prevent your printer from printing.
