How Islam Is Different from Other Religions?

Nearly a quarter of the world’s population adheres to the faith that was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in the shape of the Holy Quran, the Holy Book of Muslims. The Muslim Ummah extended Islam over the world and established communities in every continent. Through Umrah Packages all-inclusive, Muslims from all over the world are able to gather together to celebrate the holy events of Hajj and Umrah.

Meaning of Islam

Islam is a translation of the Arabic verbal noun s-I-m. The root s-l-m means “to give up,” “to accept,” and “to submit,” among other meanings. This is generally accepted as the definition of Islam: complete submission to God.

Meaning of Muslim

A person who “performs” submission, acceptance, or surrender is what the Muslim word “submitter” alludes to. Someone who believes in Islam is also someone who accepts Allah’s will.

Now, let’s compare Islam to the other major world religions to see how it stacks up.

  • We will Have Answerability for Our Activities

The believers of all other faiths believe that once we die, that’s it; we don’t have to answer to anyone for our actions in this life or the next. However, unless they convert to Islam, they will continue to make a critical error in judgement. On the Day of Judgement, when all people will be held accountable for their conduct in this life, Allah will punish those who deserve it. Allah will decide based on their actions who gets into paradise and who goes to hell.
