Sekitar 6 bulan selepas membuat debut global di Amerika, Honda Accord 2023 serba baharu generasi ke-11 telah mula dijual di China.
Sama seperti di Amerika, Accord juga model yang begitu penting di China memandangkan ia sedan segmen D paling laris di sana. (jualan Januari – April 2023 sebanyak 73,560 unit).
Di China, GAC Honda menawarkan Accord melalui 7 varian dengan harga dari 179,800 CNY (~RM 116k) untuk varian Comfort hingga 258,800 CNY (~RM 167k) untuk Flagship.
Enjinnya pula hadir dengan dua pilihan. Yang pertama ialah unit 1.5L turbo (192 PS, 260 Nm) yang digandingkan dengan transmisi CVT.
Yang kedua pula adalah enjin hibrid plug-in (PHEV) yang menggunakan nadi 2.0L NA kitaran Atkinson yang dipadankan dengan transmisi e-CVT.
Enjin itu sahaja menghasilkan 183 PS, manakala motor elektriknya menjana 148 PS. Gabungan dua sumber tenaga ini membolehkan Accord e:HEV boleh membuat pecutan 0 – 100 km/j dalam masa 7.61 saat sahaja. Penggunaan petrolnya pula serendah 4.87 liter/100 km.

Sama seperti PHEV lain, Acccord e:PHEV datang dengan pek bateri bersaiz sederhana dan untuk sedan ini, ia berkapasiti 17.7 kWj dan diletakkan di bawah but belakang. Lokasi ini lebih selamat tetapi keluasan but akan dikompromi.
Masuk ke bahagian dalam, terdapat kluster digital 10.2 inci dan HUD 11.5 inci. Bahagian tengahnya pula didominasikan oleh infotainment 12.3 inci yang menggunakan sistem operasi Android Automotive tetapi sokongan Apple CarPlay tetap ada.
Menariknya, kawalan penyaman udara, sistem audio dan sistem pencahayaan dintegrasikan terus kepada satu tombol pelaras berbentuk bulat.

Dari segi keselamatan, Accord di China datang dengan ADAS Honda Sensing 360 yang merangkumi ciri Front Cross Traffic Warning (FCTW), Lane Change Collision Management (LCCM), Active Lane Change Assist (ALCA) dan ACC with Corner Speed Assist.
Kembali di Malaysia, Accord generasi ke-11 serba baharu telah mula dijumpai di Thailand sejak akhir 2022 lagi. Dengan itu, tidak mustahil sekiranya ia membuat debut di rantau kita pada tahun ini juga. Apapun, pelancaran untuk Malaysia mungkin hanya akan berlangsung pada tahun hadapan.
Bagi anda yang belum tahu, Accord generasi ke-10 ditawarkan pada harga dari RM 187,400 untuk varian TC, manakala varian TC-P pula pada RM 197,400.
