Pelumba muda berbakat negara, Danial Syahmi Ahmad Shahril dijadual menjalani pembedahan pada pagi ini (waktu Malaysia) di Sepanyol sebagai rawatan terhadap kecederaan yang dihadapinya.
Perkembangan positif itu dikongsikan pasukan pengurusannya, ZK Racing dalam kenyataan ringkas, hari ini.
Menurut ZK Racing, keputusan menjalani pembedahan diambil selepas perbincangan yang rapi dijalankan di antara pasukan, keluarga dan Danial Syahmi sendiri.
“Semua sepakat memutuskan untuk Danial (Syahmi) menjalani pembedahan untuk proses pemulihan yang lebih singkat. Danial akan menjalani pembedahan pagi ini di Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus Barcelona.”
Mengulas lanjut, ZK Racing menjelaskan proses pemulihan Danial Syahmi akan mengambil masa sekitar 4 minggu.
Dan selama menjalani proses pemulihan, krew ZK Racing akan bersama pelumba itu untuk menjaga dan membawa Danial menjalani proses fisioterapi dan rawatan selanjutnya.

Susulan kecederaan yang dihadapinya, Danial Syahmi terlepas aksi Pusingan 1 Kejuaraan Dunia JuniorGP (JrGP) 2023 yang dijadual berlangsung hujung minggu ini di Portugal.
Danial Syahmi yang meletakkan harapan tinggi pada saingan JrGP musim ini dipalit kecederaan serius ketika beraksi di Pusingan 2 Red Bull Rookies Cup 2023 di Jerez, Sepanyol minggu lalu.
Susulan kemalangan ketika sesi kelayakan, pelumba berusia 20 tahun itu mengalami kecederaan patah buku lali kiri.
Kepada yang tak tahu, Danial Syahmi pernah berdepan kecederaan ngeri ketika beraksi di kejuaraan Asia Talent Cup pada tahun 2018.
Tahun lalu, dia melengkapkan kejuaraan kedudukan ke-17 keseluruhan dalam JuniorGP dan tempat ke-14 pada Red Bull Rookies.
Tanpa kelibat Danial Syahmi, hanya seorang pelumba negara beraksi di Portugal, minggu ini iaitu Hakim Danish Ramli yang dijadual beraksi di Pusingan 1 ETC (European Talent Cup) 2023.
