Pada Pameran Motor Antarabangsa Indonesia (IIMS) 2023 yang sedang berlangsung, Chery mengumumkan harga pra-tempahan bagi Chery Omoda 5, produk global pertama syarikat itu. Hanya satu pilihan enjin diumumkan dalam dua varian iaitu:
- Chery Omoda 5 Z – IDR 328 juta (~RM 96k)
- Chery Omoda 5 RZ – IDR 398 juta (~RM 116k)
Harga tersebut jauh lebih rendah daripada Honda HR-V asas yang bermula dari IDR 375.9 juta (~RM 110k) namun harga awal Omoda 5 masih belum dimuktamadkan.
Spesifikasi enjin tunggal yang ditawarkan untuk Chery Omoda 5 pasaran Indonesia ialah enjin 4-silinder 1.5 liter turbocaj yang menghasilkan 147 PS dan 230 Nm, dipasangkan dengan transmisi automatik CVT dengan 9 gear maya. Perlu diingatkan bahawa output kuasa kuda yang disebut dalam siaran akhbar Indonesia kurang daripada model pasaran China (156 PS).

Varian RZ yang lebih tinggi menambah beberapa ciri menarik termasuk sistem audio Sony 8-speaker, cermin sisi dengan fungsi pemanasan, cermin kaca akustik, pembantu suara pintar, dan lampu signal LED berturutan.
Seperti mana-mana SUV moden, Chery Omoda 5 dilengkapi dengan suite ADAS sebagai standard pada kedua-dua varian yang terdiri daripada kawalan pelayaran adaptif (ACC), bantuan pelayaran bersepadu (ICA), dan Lane Keep Assist.
