The all-new 2023 Lexus LM has been spotted testing in Japan, and in true LM fashion…it looks so far off left-field it’s hard to mistake it for anything else.

Though this one has taped up badges on the front and back, the luxury MPV has already made its global debut, so there’s no more need for camera-tricking camouflage elsewhere.

The LM is available in 4-seater, 6- or 7-seater configurations, with the 4-seater being the most luxurious. It comes with a 48-inch screen, a mini fridge, and massage functions on each captain seat.

Unlike the previous generation model that was confined to majorly Asian markets, this all-new LM is set to go global, with sales set to take place in more than 60 countries worldwide, including in European ones.

Powertrain for Europe is the sole 2.5-litre naturally-aspirated hybrid 4-cylinder hybrid, making a combined 250 PS and 239 Nm, with power going through an E-Four electric all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

A 2.4-litre turbo-four is listed as another option for other markets, but there are no performance figures just yet.

In Malaysia, we still have the older Lexus LM that goes from RM 1,208,000. More details of the arrival of the new model will be announced later this year.
