While most car shows merely showcase various builds, the one being organized by Southville International School and Colleges is also helping some very important people.
The Southville International – Junior Marketing Association (SIJMA) will hold the Monarchy Auto Show 2023 on May 27, 2023 at The Podium Parking of Ayala Mall Manila Bay in Pasay City.
The event is being conducted in collaboration with the Southville Junior Financial Executives and the Southville Society of Entrepreneurs.
The group said in a press statement that funds from the show will go to the Anawim Foundation, a small facility established in 1996 in Rizal Province that cares for poor and abandoned elderly people.
It aims to be a sanctuary for old people who have been rejected or found roaming in the streets and have nowhere else to go.
School tradition
Project head Joaquin Carrillo told AutoFun Philppines that the Monarchy Auto Show 2023 is the latest in a long line of car shows organized by his school.
“This has been an annual event of SIJMA since 2011 from the SouthBeat Autoshow to the Monarkey Autoshow,” he said.
For this year, the show aims to draw at least 50 car entries and around 500 to 700 participants. Aside from the usual car awards (including Best in Show), there will also be a raffle and booths by various concessionaires, sponsors and even a DJ.
“This car show is one of our most-awaited events since coming back from the pandemic and we are so excited to meet all the fellow car enthusiasts, so don’t miss out!” Carillo said.

“Whether you are a car enthusiast, a guest, an entry or someone who would like to sponsor this event, we are inviting you all to participate in our upcoming car show,” Carillo said.
