Honda 在去年推出了以11代 Civic 平台为基础的全新世代美规 HR-V，并随即在日本与中国等主要市场以 ZR-V 之名登陆亮相。
由于是以 Civic 底盘打造而来，ZR-V 也有参考前者的1.5升涡轮增压与2.0升e:HEV油电两种动力配置，不过原本外界以为油电 ZR-V 是日规专属配置，但在2月20日时由广汽本田生产的中规 ZR-V 也追加了 e:HEV 混合动力，且比日本还要早开卖！
广汽本田推出的 ZR-V 致在（东风本田版的双生车叫 HR-V，此 HR-V 非大马的 HR-V），在去年9月份首波在中国上市时先以1.5T动力的纯燃油车型为主，有三种车型、15.99万人民币（约RM 103k）至19.59万人民币（约RM 127k）的价格上市。
而在昨日全新上市的 e:HEV 油电版，则是进一步提供四种车型给消费者选择，17.99万人民币（约RM 116k）至22.89万万人民币（约RM 148k）的入手成本也比纯燃油车型要来得更高，不过184匹综效输出以及19.49km/L平均油耗都胜过1.5升涡轮增压版本，且外观也有差异化设定，这样的价差应该算是值得。

至于在主场日本，Honda 去年11月时就公布了 ZR-V e:HEV 的四车型与2,949,100日元（约RM 97k）到4,119,500日元（约RM 136k）的售价，不过在价格释出的当下就表示因应晶片等原料短缺的因素，消费者得要等到今年的4月21日才能够开始交车！
而且不只是 ZR-V，其实 Civic、Civic Type R 以及 Jazz 等热门车款，也因为缺料状况而有时间不等的候车期，只能说国际情势对汽车生产造成的影响还没有正式散去。
由于 ZR-V 的产品定位介于 HR-V 跟 CR-V 之间，但由于大马的 HR-V（RM 114,800 – 140,800）跟 CR-V（RM 146,900 – 171,400）之间的价格差距不是特别大，ZR-V 如果要加入的话势必会压缩到两款车型的销售空间，目前来大马的机率应该并不高。
