Kos perbelanjaan sebanyak RM 1.6 juta dikeluarkan untuk menyenggara dan membaiki Kenderaan Rasmi Jawatan (KRJ) Menteri Persekutuan iaitu Toyota Vellfire 2.5L sepanjang tempoh tiga tahun antara 2020 – 2022.
Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim memaklumkan dalam satu jawapan bertulis yang kos penyelenggaraan serta pembaikan KRJ adalah berjumlah RM 672,000 pada 2020, RM 478,991.50 pada 2021, dan RM 450,690.66 pada 2022.
Tambahnya lagi, Menteri Persekutuan menggunakan KRJ Toyota Vellfire 2.5L sejak April 2021. Terdahulu, KRJ terdiri daripada kereta nasional Proton Perdana 2.4L namun digantikan dengan MPV mewah dari Jepun itu setelah pengeluaran sedan tersebut dihentikan.
