Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) recently held its 2022 Dealer of the Year Awards in Johor to honour the contribution and performance of its dealer network towards the marque’s performance in the country.
The annual event was attended by representatives from all 17 dealerships within the Volkswagen network nationwide.
Four awards alone were set aside for the Dealer of The Year category that sees judging and scoring criteria based on the dealer’s efforts in sales and marketing, aftersales, customer satisfaction, dealer standards compliance and manpower qualification to determine the best dealer. The panel of judges monitored the performance of dealers from January till December 2022.
Having won the Dealer of the Year award in 2021, Lee Motors Autohaus (Volkswagen Alor Setar) took home the coveted title again for 2022, proving their commitment to delivering a quality Volkswagen experience was for the long run.
The other recipients for Dealer of The Year awards were:
- MHV Autohaus (Volkswagen Gombak) – 1st Runner-up
- Goh Brothers Motor (Volkswagen Juru) – 2nd Runner-up
- PHS Autohaus (Volkswagen Puchong) – Das WeltAuto category
Talents within the network were also acknowledged and awarded for their exceptional performances for the roles of Sales Manager, Sales Consultant, Aftersales Manager, Parts Manager, Service Advisor and Technician.
They were tested on both qualitative and quantitative KPI achievements for the different levels and positions. The criteria include sales and aftersales targets, customer satisfaction, adherence to processes and procedures and attaining required training and qualifications.
The six Overall Top Achievers were:
- Chong Sze Yan (WN Motorworld) – Best Sales Manager
- Azharul Sham Hamsah (MHV Autohaus) – Best Sales Consultant
- Loh Sing Hoong (MHV Autohaus) – Best Aftersales Manager
- Muhammad Izzat Che Adnan (Lee Motors Autohaus) – Best Parts Manager
- Soo Boon Hou (Goh Brothers Motor) – Best Service Advisor
- Khairul Humaidi Shamsudin (N3 Auto) – Best Technician
