Metro Pharma Philippines Inc. (MPPI) is a Philippine-based, search-and-development pharmaceutical company engaged in the ethical marketing of top-quality products that provide innovative solutions to the current healthcare need of Filipinos.
Kia Philippines announced in a May 2023 press statement that MPPI has chosen the Kia Soluto LX AT subcompact sedan to help its team out in the field.
“After extensive research, we found that the Soluto ticks all of the right boxes and exceeds our requirements,” said MPPI president and CEO Rush Kimhoko.
“The coverage of our medical representatives brings them to the busiest and most congested areas in the city, so we need a vehicle that is proven to be comfortable, reliable, easy to park and maneuver, and efficient,” he added. “And because it represents our company, it must also be stylish.”
The Soluto as a transport solution
Kia Philippines said the Soluto answers the transportation needs of MMPI by providing them with an array of value-for-money features.
These include the sedan’s fuel-efficient 1.4-liter inline-4 gasoline engine that produces a healthy 95 PS and 132 Nm of torque, mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The Korean sedan, which is manufactured at Kia’s plant in China, also offers customers a spacious interior with a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In addition, the Soluto gets a 6-speaker sound system, a reverse camera and steering wheel controls for convenience and entertainment while stuck in traffic or on the go.
“It is essential that the vehicle we offer to our valued customers fits this very unique and demanding industry,” said functional director for sales of Iconic Dealership, Inc. Patty Echivarre.
“Every kilometer traveled is considered, so efficiency is key,” she added. “Of course, the sedan must also have the convenience and connectivity features to make the hours spent on the road by representatives as comfortable as possible.”
Excellent warranty coverage
The Kia Soluto comes with a general warranty for the first five years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.
Kia Philippines also offers 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance. The regular maintenance service interval schedule for these models is every six months or every 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
To avoid any prolonged downtime, Kia Philippines said it is always ready to help with its vast dealership network in the country.
The brand added that it always keeps three months’ worth of parts ready and has partnered with DHL in case specialized parts need to be shipped into the Philippines.
