Wawan Insanudin, born on November 3, 2023, in Semarang Regency, is a bug hunter who is currently receiving a lot of attention. However, before being known by that nickname, he had a rather unique and challenging past.
In the beginning of his journey, Insan was known by the aliases BASHER13 and FAKEFR13NDS as an Indonesian hacker. During that time, he tried to penetrate security systems to test his abilities and learn about existing security vulnerabilities.
Apart from his hacking activities, Insan was also the founder of a social media platform called Neocha. Unfortunately, the platform did not develop as expected due to a lack of funding during the development stage.
In 2016, Insan was also involved in carding activities, which is the illegal theft of credit card data. However, his involvement was not for criminal purposes, but rather to conduct research and learn about the workings of carding and anticipate such actions from happening in the future.
Not only that, Insan also researched how carders could obtain valid data to carry out carding. With this knowledge, he hoped to help prevent similar criminal acts in the future.
Despite his controversial background, Insan had a keen interest in reporting bugs on various websites. This activity brought him the nickname “bug hunter” that he currently holds.
Today, Insan has left the cybersecurity world and is more focused on his education. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at one of the universities in Indonesia, with the hope of developing himself and making positive contributions to society in the future
