Let’s Get Started!
Step 1:
We will be creating a really adorable cartoon wolf drawing in this guide, so let’s begin with the head outline.
Even though we are only creating the outline for one portion of the wolf, there are still lots of details that will be included here.
The head is quite rounded in general, but the muzzle and mouth will protrude a bit. The ears will also be quite large in comparison to the rest of the head.
The outline of the head will have some curved, pointy portions poking out to make the head look nice and furry.
Finish off with an open mouth that shows some pointy teeth, and then we shall move on to the next step!
Step 2: Now, draw the eyes and other facial details
For the second step of our guide on how to draw a cartoon wolf, we will draw some more facial details for this adorable wolf.
We shall start with the eyes, and as you can see in the reference image they are big and expressive.
They will be contained within some large oval shapes, and the eyes themselves will be drawn using a combination of round and oval shapes.
Then, the nose will be drawn using a rounded triangle shape, and we will finish off with some curved lines on the face leading up to the ear on the right.
Step 3: Next, draw the back and first foot
We’re finished with the head and face for now, and in this step, we will add the back and first foot for this cute wolf! The back of the wolf will be drawn with a simple line that curves inward near the top.
Then, the leg will be drawn using some curved lines that connect to one another to make it look furry.
You can then add the foot, and because of the way the wolf is sitting will make it so that you can see the base of the foot.
It will have a rounded pad on the base and four rounded toes connected to one another. Finish off this step with a curved, pointy tail, and then we can move on to step 4!
Step 4: Now, draw more legs and feet
Now we will add the beginnings of more legs and feet for your cartoon wolf drawing. First, we will extend a slightly curved line down from the base of the mouth.
This will then attach to more of those rounded toes that connect to one another. Finally, draw another curved line coming off from the front leg, and then draw another paw.
