The Crew: Motorfest has a lot more vehicles than just cars. Boats and planes make up a big part of its huge list of vehicles.
Fans of The Crew: Motorfest can choose from a huge number of events as they explore the game world and play through the tracks. The game is mostly about driving cars, but players can also control a variety of boats and planes. Boat and plane events will first appear in either the “Hawaii Scenic Tour” or “Ocean ‘n Sky” tracks.
A lot of work goes into picking the best plane in The Crew: Motorfest, and picking the fastest plane won’t help you win many of the flying races. In acrobatic races, players will need a good mix of speed and skill to do well.
Pilatus PC-21
With a top speed of 685 km/h, the Pilatus PC-21 is possibly the fastest plane on this list. It is a great plane in terms of speed. However, that doesn’t make up for how badly it handles, especially since tests have shown that it can’t go faster than 351 km/h when going level and needs help from gravity to reach its top speed. Because it turns slowly and can’t make sharp turns very quickly even in extreme mode, it can’t go any higher on this list, even though its top speed is very fast.
Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing
The Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing is a great car just for looks, but it can also go fast enough to get you where you need to go quickly. The multi-wing design that makes it look great in the air also makes it slow to turn compared to other choices, and it can be hard to make quick changes in direction.
Granville Brothers Aircraft Gee Bee R-1
In terms of speed and handling, the Gee Bee R-1 is a great car. It also has one of the stranger plane designs. It can go as fast as 240 km/h and turns a lot sharper than the Staggerwing. But it still has some trouble making sharp turns when it’s not in extreme mode. It can get around this problem without losing too much speed if you use the extreme mode well.
WACO Aircraft Corp. YMF-5D Super
The YMF-5D Super is the more maneuverable of these two biplanes. It can turn faster and move around more quickly than the Staggerwing. It’s also said to have a top speed of 344 km/h and can run at 238 km/h when the ground is flat. This is a great biplane for players who want a stylish and maneuverable craft.
Harmon Rocket HR III
The Harmon Rocket HR III comes next. It’s a quick plane that can still turn pretty well. When it comes to sharp turns, players will need to use extreme mode to get the most out of the Rocket. Once they get used to it, though, it moves very well. It’s a little harder to fly it “normally,” since it turns slowly, but players who are ready to practice and make good use of extreme mode will enjoy this a lot.
Extra 330 SC
The Extra 330 SC from Extra Aerobatic Planes is a great plane for a lot of different events. It’s very maneuverable and can go as fast as 380 km/h, though in real life it will only go as fast as 230 km/h when going straight up because it needs some help from gravity to reach its top speed. The Extra 330 SC can easily make sharp turns and do most tricks, but it has a little trouble with getting going faster, and because it’s so light, it can be hard to control in strong winds (though this only happens in a few events on the Ocean ‘n Sky playlist).
Grumman 8F Bearcat
Great for Snow Rider 3D players who want a fast plane without giving up weight or agility, the Grumman 8F Bearcat is a great mix of speed and agility. It can turn quickly and go at a steady speed of 248 km/h.
Supermarine Spitfire MK IX
It is fast and pretty maneuverable, but it is also pretty big. The Supermarine Spitfire MK IX is a great choice for air shows. Even though it’s not as easy to control as the last one, it more than makes up for it in speed and can still make sharp turns when the extreme mode is used well. It’s a good choice for players who are ready to give up some movement in exchange for speed. It can easily stay at 246 km/h when the ground is flat, and it can go faster when going downhill.
Northrop Grumman F4U Corsair
The Northrop Grumman F4U Corsair is another bigger plane that can fly very fast and handle well in a variety of situations. If a player isn’t sure about this plane, they can try it out in the Hawaii Scenic Tour game, where it does really well. It can run at 240 km/h when the ground is flat, and in extreme mode, it can still make sharp turns.
Zivko Edge 540 V3
For events with lots of fast turns, the Zivko Edge 540 V3 is a great pick because it is so quick and maneuverable. It can fly as fast as 229 km/h at its fastest and is great for stunts because it is so easy to control.
Slick 360HP
The Slick 360 HP (Slick Aircraft) is a great, well-balanced plane that does really well in a lot of different air races. It’s said to have a top speed of 418 km/h and great turning speeds even when going full speed, so it’s a great choice for most events. Compared to the other cars on this list, it gets blown around more when the wind is strong, but its speed and agility more than make up for that. Even when going straight down, it can only reach a top speed of 225 km/h. It needs help from gravity to reach its stated top speed.
